Germinal to focus on Disease and Stress Resistant Bentgrass mixture at BTME

Grass seed and turf care specialists, Germinal, will be attending the BTME show in Harrogate from 23rd to 25th January 2018.

Germinal’s Amenity team of Joe Hendy, Paul Moreton, Alistair Eccles, Sandy Pentecost and headed up Richard Brown will be on stand H32 to exhibit their extensive range of grass seed and turf care products.

Highlights of the range include Cabrio Ultra Fine Ryegrass and Forefront Greens. Cabrio is exclusively available from Germinal as part of the company’s ‘Grade A’ range of grass seed mixtures. Cabrio is a perennial ryegrass cultivar for use on cricket squares, tennis lawns and golf tees. Cabrio sits at the top of the BSPB’s Turfgrass Seed booklet’s Series L list for lawns, landscaping and summer sports thanks to a fineness of leaf scoring of 8.8 – half a point ahead of its nearest rival.

Germinal Amenity will also be unveiling a new seed mixture suitable for sand or soil–based greens; Forefront Green. This mixture comprises 35% AberRegal (Browntop Bent), 35% AberRoyal (Browntop Bent) and 30% 007 DSB (Creeping Bent). It offers vigorous growth and good all–round disease resistance, increased wear and heat tolerance, for hard–working, modern golf greens.

All our Technical Sales Representatives are FACTS (Fertiliser Advisers Certification and Training Scheme) qualified which means they are trained and approved to develop bespoke fertiliser and sward nutrient programmes and will be able to offer advice on the day.
